If you or a spender in your company incorrectly categorizes their transaction, don't worry – it’s a quick fix.

To recategorize a transaction:

1. Select Transactions from the left menu.

2. Click on the transaction you’d like to edit.

3. Under Budget, use the drop-down menu to select the correct budget.

4. Edit any custom fields (such as receipt, department, or notes).

That’s it! Any changes will be saved automatically.

Transactions cannot be recategorized into budgets with insufficient funds. If you need to move a transaction to a different budget, make sure you have enough funds in that budget first.
