Before swiping your physical card, you can change the active budget so transactions are properly coded. For more information on selecting and re-categorizing budgets, click here.

Notes:

  • If you don't select a budget before swiping your card, funds will automatically be pulled from the budget with the highest funds available to you. You can easily reassign the transaction to a different budget even after a transaction is completed—learn how to complete transactions here.

  • If you cannot select a new active budget, you may only belong to a single budget or you do not have funds assigned to you in any other budgets.


Mobile App

1. In the Divvy Navigation Bar, tap the Wallet icon [1]. If the Wallet icon is not in your Navigation Bar, tap the More icon [2], then tap the Wallet link [3].

2. Tap the Active Budget button.

3. Tap the Budget you would like to pull funds from. You cannot select a budget that doesn't have available funds assigned to you.

Web Browser

  1. In the Divvy Navigation Menu, click the Cards link [1]. Then click the Your wallet option [2].

  2. From the Your Wallet page, click the card for which you want to change the active budget [1]. To find a card, you can enter card information in the Search field [2] or filter the page by clicking the Add Filter button [3]. Learn how to search and filter the Cards page.

  3. Click the Change Budget button.

  4. Click the budget you want to use [1]. You cannot select a budget that doesn't have available funds assigned to you [2].
