Transaction defaults allow users to select a default value for a given transaction field. You can set transaction defaults from a web browser or the Divvy mobile app.

Note: If you are unable to manage transaction defaults, this feature has not been enabled for your account. Contact your Divvy administrator for assistance.


Web Browser

  1. In the Divvy Navigation Menu, click your profile link.

2. Click the Settings tab.

3. In the Transaction defaults section, click the Update Defaults button.

Note: If you are unable to manage transaction defaults, this feature has not been enabled for your account. Contact your Divvy administrator for assistance.

4. In the Global Fields section, click the drop-down menu for the field and select the option you want to designate as the default [1].

5. To exit the transaction defaults sidebar, click the Close icon. Your changes are saved automatically.

Mobile App

  1. In the Divvy Navigation bar, tap the More icon.

2. Tap your Profile link.

3. In the Transactions section, tap the Transaction defaults link.

4. Tap the name of a custom field for which you would like to create a transaction default [1]. Then select the option you want to designate as the default.

5. To save your selections, tap the Done link [2].
