We have created some email templates for you to copy/paste and send to your spenders/employees to prepare them for the Visa Activation.

Email 1 - 2 Weeks from Activation

Subject: Your Divvy card is getting an upgrade—with Visa

Hi there,

The Divvy card experience is about to get even better. Your company is now using Divvy Visa® Business cards, which allow you to:

  • Shop at your favorite places: You can spend anywhere Visa is accepted, including popular merchants like Costco.

  • Checkout faster with contactless payment: Pay faster and more safely with tap-to-pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

  • Enjoy a sleek, new physical card: Your physical Divvy card is about to get an upgrade, complete with even easier-to-read card numbers.

A few things to know:

  • Soon, you’ll get a new Divvy card in the mail. Be on the lookout for a black envelope.

  • You’ll need to start using the new Divvy Visa® Business card rather than your Divvy Mastercard. This means updating any virtual cards from within Divvy.

  • At a certain point, your Divvy Mastercard cards (both physical and virtual cards) will expire. So make sure you update your virtual cards and activate your new physical card.

Email 2 - Week of Activation

Subject: It’s here! Your new Divvy Visa card is on its way.

Hi there,

We’re upgrading your Divvy card experience! Starting today, you can spend on your Divvy Visa® Business virtual cards—and your new physical card is already on its way!

A few things to know:

  • Soon, you’ll get a new Divvy card in the mail. Be on the lookout for a black envelope.

  • You’ll need to start using the new Divvy Visa card rather than your Divvy Mastercard. This means updating any virtual cards from within Divvy.

  • At a certain point, your Divvy Mastercard cards (both physical and virtual cards) will expire. So make sure you update your virtual cards and activate your new physical card.

Email 3 - Week after Activation (Mastercards should't be working at this point)

Subject: Heads up: Your Divvy Mastercards will no longer work this week

Hi there,

Your company is now spending even smarter with Divvy Visa® Business cards. This week, your Divvy cards backed by Mastercard will expire—both physical and virtual cards.

Before this happens, please make sure:

  • All subscriptions and vendors are updated with new Divvy Visa® Business card numbers.

  • You have your new Divvy card in hand. If you haven’t received it yet, please click here.
