Not all businesses are approved for credit right away. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have the tools to help you track your business spend and automate your accounting process. We can’t give everyone a credit line, but we can give you the opportunity to build your credit until we can—with Credit Builder.

This program has no spend limits and allows you to build credit as you spend and make payments to Divvy.

Follow the steps below to get started with Credit Builder:

  1. Accept the Credit Builder program post-application.
    Once you finish the Divvy credit application, the next screen will indicate that you’ve qualified for our Credit Builder program. Be sure to click the Accept Credit Builder button which will allow us to create an account for you.

Note: If you do not see this option after completing a credit application and you still wish to use the Credit Builder program, please email us at [email protected].

2. Check to make sure we don’t need any more documents to verify your business for the Divvy Credit Builder program.
We may request more documents to verify your business before creating a Divvy account for you. You should receive an email if more documents are needed, but in case you miss it, here’s how to check if more documents are needed:

2. Enter your business email into the box provided. Be sure not to click “login”.

3. Enter the code that was sent to your email

4. Arrive to your Dashboard and see requested documents

5. Upload the document(s)

3. Create your account!
You’ll receive an email prompting you to create a login for Divvy. Follow the email’s instructions and set up your account with Divvy. If you have not received this email, please reach out to [email protected].

4. Preload your card(s).
Upload funds onto your Divvy cards via Wire or ACH transfer and then spend as you wish. There is no maximum amount for you to load your card with, but we ask that there be at least $1 loaded at all times.

Please note: It may take up to 4 days for your funds to process and be available in your Divvy account to spend.

5. Take advantage of Divvy software.
