Application & Account Basics

I filled out an application but was declined for an unsecured line of credit previously. Do I need to submit a new application?

It depends. In order to qualify for Credit Builder, you will need to have submitted an application within the last 30 days. If it has been longer than 30 days, you will need to submit a new application to qualify for Credit Builder. If you have questions regarding your application, please email [email protected].

How is the Credit Builder program different from the standard Divvy program?

The standard Divvy program includes an unsecured line of credit, where the full balance must be paid on the payment due date. (No float is included in this program.)

The Credit Builder program is for businesses who were not approved for an unsecured line of credit. This is a program that allows businesses to pre-fund into a secure credit line and then spend. By using Divvy to spend, Credit Builder participants still receive Divvy rewards and can use the software to manage all of their spending and expenses.

I made a payment. How do I make the funds available on my card?

In order to make your funds available on your card, you will need to create a budget. Understand how budgets work and how to set them up in this help article.

When can I apply for a credit line?

We recommend utilizing your Credit Builder account for six months before reapplying for a line of credit.

Does this program work like a Net 30 account?

No. The Divvy Credit Builder program doesn’t have float like a credit card would. In order for your business to be able to make purchases on a Divvy card, you will need to pre-fund the line of credit with money from your bank account.
