As an admin or budget owner, you can edit the amount of assigned funds within a budget for a budget member or vendor card. You can also apply assigned fund changes to multiple budget members or cards at the same time.

This lesson describes how to edit assigned budgets on a web browser and the Divvy mobile app.


Web Browser

  1. In the Divvy Navigation Menu, click the Budgets link.

2. Click the budget you want to open.

Note: If your account only includes one budget, that budget will display automatically.

3. From the Spend Limits tab [1], click the Edit Funds button [2].

4. In the Edit Funds For drop-down menu [1], select the user(s) or vendor card(s) for which you want to edit funds [2]. To search for a user or card, enter the name in the Edit Funds For field.

5. To select all users and cards in the budget, click the Select All button [3]. To deselect all users and cards, click the Deselect All button [4].

6. View the amount of available funds in the budget [1]. Then enter the new assigned amount for the user(s) and/or card(s) in the New Assigned Amount field [2].

7. To set an expiration date for the assigned funds, click the Set new funds expiration date checkbox [3]. Then enter the expiration date for the newly assigned funds [4].

Note: Changes entered in the New Assigned Amount field apply to all selected users and cards.

8. View the net change to available funds for the budget [1]. You can also view the changes to the assigned funds for each user or card [2].

9. To save changes, click the Save button [3].

In the Divvy Navigation Bar, tap the Budgets icon [1]. If the Budgets icon is not in your Navigation Bar, tap the More icon [2], then tap the Budgets link [3].

2. Tap the budget you want to open.

3. Tap the name of the user or card for which you want to edit funds.

4. Tap the Expand icon [1]. Then tap the Edit Funds link [2].

5. View the available funds in the budget [1].

6. To edit the assigned funds for the user or card, tap the New Funds Amount field and enter the new amount [2].

7. By default, assigned fund changes apply to the current budget period only. To manage this setting, tap the Apply Changes To field [3]. You can apply your changes to the current period or the current period and all future budget periods.

8. To assign the same amount of funds to additional users or cards, tap the Add more items link [4].

9. To save changes, tap the Save button [5].

Note: Changes entered in the New Funds Amount field apply to all selected users and cards.
