In Divvy, roles and attributes determine the actions that any user can perform. User roles (administrator, bookkeeper, and member) relate to an entire organization in Divvy. Attributes (budget owner and budget member) are specific to individual budgets. Learn more about roles and attributes in Divvy.

If you want to view your user role or budget attribute in Divvy, follow the steps below. Before checking your user role or attribute, ensure you are logged in with the company you want to view.

  1. In the Divvy Navigation Menu, click your Profile link.

2. The Overview tab displays by default.

3. In the Account information section, find your role. Learn more about roles in Divvy.

Note: Only admins can edit roles in Divvy.

View Budget Attribute

  1. In the Divvy Navigation Menu, click the Budgets link.

2. To view budgets where you are a budget owner, click the Owner budgets link [1]. To view budgets where you are a budget member, click the Member budgets link [2].

  1. In the top right corner of the screen, tap your Profile icon.

    Note: The Profile icon displays on any of the main pages of the Divvy app (e.g., Wallet, Budgets, or Transactions).

2. Find the Personal Information section [1] and tap the Edit link [2].

3. The Permissions section displays your role.

Note: Only admins can edit roles in Divvy.

  1. In the Divvy Navigation Bar, tap the Budgets icon [1]. If the Budgets icon is not in your Navigation Bar, tap the More icon [2], then tap the Budgets link [3].

2. Budgets where you are a budget owner are indicated by the Owner label [1]. Budgets where you are a budget member do not display a label [2].
