Groups are a beta feature. If you cannot access groups in your account, this feature has not been enabled. For more information about enabling this feature, contact your Customer Success Manager.
As a Divvy admin or group owner, you can create a budget within a group. The limit for a budget within a group must be less than the group budget minus any other limits assigned to budgets or groups in that same group. For example, you may create a group with a $10,000 overall budget and allocate $4,000 in limits to budgets and/or groups within that group. A new budget created in that group can have a limit of up to $6,000.
Web Browser
In the Divvy Navigation Menu, click the Budgets link.
On the Budgets page, enter the name of the group where you want to add the new budget [1]. Groups are identified by the Group icon [2].
Click the name of the group [3].
If you selected a parent group and want to add a budget to a group that is nested in that budget, click the group.
Click the Add button [1] and select the Create new budget option [2].
Follow the steps in this article to create a new budget. When creating a budget in a group, the amount available in the group displays in the Available in Group section [1]. The budget limit [2] and buffer [3] must be less than that available amount and the Available in Group total automatically adjusts based on what is entered in these fields.
When creating a budget from a group, any group owners are automatically added as budget owners. Learn how to manage budget owners and members.
Mobile App
In the Divvy Navigation Bar, tap the Budgets icon [1]. If the Budgets icon is not in your Navigation Bar, tap the More icon [2], then tap the Budgets link [3].
